The Wedding of Alex and Tanja at Dereham Registry Office and the Reception held at The George Hotel Dereham

Yesterday I had the privilege of capturing the wedding of Alex and Tanja.
I only met The couple 4days before the wedding as the both live in Germany.
Tanja was quite worried about the weather on the day as the forecast said that it was to be very wet. But in true James Neale Photography Style, It turned out to be a glorious day, with gleaming sunshine and fluffy blue clouds.

For me this wedding was a challenge, because the bride and groom are flying back to Germany early on Tuesday morning, so I have had to upload, edit, backup and design a DVD slideshow all in a day, ready to show the couple their images on Monday morning.

I can happily say that all the editing and creating is done, and I am burning the DVD as I type.

The Wedding of Lloyd and Vicky. Norfolk wedding by Norfolk wedding phototgrapher James Neale

I was very lucky to be asked to capture the wedding of Lloyd and Vicky Thompson last month. It was a great day starting off at Dereham Registry office and then over to the Queen Mothers gardens in Dereham to get some group shots of the bride and grooms family. It was a very hot day not helped by the fact that the aircon inside the registry office had stopped working. After the wedding I was able to follow the newly weds back to their house where they were going to hold the evening reception. We had an hour before the guests arrived to get some great shots of the couple, their house is set in a beautiful location, and we managed to get some stunning images. What made this a great wedding was the fact that Lloyd and Vicky are so laid back, there was no rushing around, no drama, and certainly no stress, even though they had been let down by suppliers at the last minute due to Englands first game in the world cup! To sum this wedding up... A great day, a great couple, and some great wedding photos :)
