Steven + Susan = Married - Gibraltar Wedding Photography

Back in October i was asked if i would capture the wedding of Steven and Susan. This was a little last minute as the wedding was to take place on Christmas Eve in Essex. So i headed over to see them to discuss the arrangements. Whilst there i was taken to one side by their son and told that the event on Christmas eve was a blessing, and that the actual wedding was to be taking place a week before in Gibraltar. He told me that he wanted to surprise his parents by sending me out to Gibraltar to capture the wedding too! So a few weeks later i packed my bags and headed over to Gibraltar!

This was my first destination wedding. I have been longing to do one since i started out as a photographer, and this was certainly not going to disappoint. Whilst the temperature in England was struggling to get above zero, Gibraltar was around 20 degrees with beautiful blue skies and some stunning views.

It was a fantastic weekend, and i feel extremely privileged to have been asked to capture it. They are such a great family and they made me feel like i was a part of it.

2011 has been one hell of year, and before i go on to tell you all about it, i have to say that none of it would have been possible without the love and support from my beautiful wife. Emma puts up with me spending all my time working, and listens to me when i'm coming up with the next scheme or addition to the business plan, or at least pretends to be listening and nods accordingly. Also, thank you to my friends and family who continue to show their support and believe in me, in what ever i do. Without you guys none of it would be worth doing.

I came into 2011 with a plan, a plan on how, what and where i wanted my business to go. Three months in, that plan was in the bin because i had totally underestimated myself in what i could achieve if i put my mind to it. I have gone from primarily a wedding and portrait photographer to now offering a wide range of services. Some people have told me that i need to specialize in a certain area if i really want to make an impact, but that's not for me, I don't want to spend the rest of my days doing 50 weddings a year and 100 family portraits, the thing i love about being a photographer is that every day is different. I love pushing my photography to the next level, I love being set a challenge.

2011 has also been the beginning of my Photography Training Workshops. Photography training was something that i never thought about doing. Then i got approached to run some classes at a local high school and the rest is history, It has gone from just one workshop, to now running beginners guide workshops and wildlife photography workshops at two local zoo's. I have trained over 150 people this year, and look forward to working with more next year. 2012 will see the addition of Night Photography Workshops, as well as some more advanced classes so watch this space.

This year has seen me work with some amazing people. My brides and grooms who have all been fantastic, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I love being a part of their special day, i love capturing those memories that they will look back on for years to come. I even had the pleasure of being flown out to Gibraltar to photograph a wedding. My first International booking!

I have also been lucky enough to work with Jamie Lester, from the hit BBC program The Apprentice. Jamie got in touch when he needed some images for his new website. He is a top guy and having worked with him on a couple of projects now, I look forward to keeping in touch with him over the next year, I just want to wish him all the best in his new business Hous Properties

I have also had a great time working with Entrepreneur Country Magazine over the last few months. What a great time i have had photographing their seminars, mixing with some of the UK's top Business men and women, People like James Caan, Lloyd Dorfman, Lara Morgan, i have loved every minute of it. I have even had my first article published in the magazine, which is something i never expected to happen!!!

And something that i certainly never expected was to be launching my second photography business! iSnap Events was launched just a few months ago when I joined forces with Professional Photographer Richard Evans of Sox Photography to offer full event and onsite green screen photography. This has taken off quicker than i ever could of imagined, and we have already worked with some great people and businesses throughout Norfolk and have so many great opportunities already lined up for 2012. Its going to be an extremely busy and fun filled year for iSnap.

So 2012 is only a few hours away now, everyone is starting to make their new years resolutions. For me, all i am going to do is continue pushing myself towards my goals, achieve more than i ever thought possible, and enjoy every single minute of it!

Entrepreneur Country Magazine - Accelerate Forum - Event Photographer

On Tuesday 27th September I was the official photographer for Entrepreneur Country Magazines Accelerate Forum at the Royal Institution of Great Britain in London.

What an amazing day! The Royal Institution was crammed with 400 entrepreneurs all geared up for a full on day.

Key Note speakers included Llyod Dorfman the founder and chairman of Travelex Group, Austin Healey, Former rugby international and investor, Will King, CEO of King of Shaves and Former Dragon and CEO of Hamilton Bradshaw, James Caan.

Even though i was working, I found the day extremely motivational, and learnt a great deal which will help me to push my business forward over the coming months.

Norwich Free School Press Conference - Launch photography

Last month i was asked to photograph a press conference at The new Norwich free school. I have done a few shoots for the school over the last year at various stages, and was nice to be a part of the official opening. The day was attended by Norwich MP Simon Wright.

The Free School Norwich is a primary school for children aged 4 - 11 years old. It is housed in Kings House, a Grade II listed Georgian house located in central Norwich, close to all public transport services.

The school is fully modernised and adapted for use as a primary school, whilst retaining many of its original Georgian features. A purpose-designed, children's play garden is situated at the rear of Kings House. The garden has a wooded area, play house, children's vegetable plot, hard playground and a specialist early years playground with a canopied area for outdoor activities in all weathers.

The Free School Norwich year comprises of six terms, with a two week holiday between each and a four week holiday in August. Our terms are named Harvest, Christmas, Winter, Spring, Whitsun and Summer.

Squirrels Extended School is open for use by working parents for six days a week during term time and throughout the school holiday periods. The school is closed on Bank Holidays and for one week at Christmas.

The Free School Norwich actively promotes the use of public transport to help reduce city centre traffic congestion. Our convenient location enables parents to use public transport to travel easily to the school and their place of work in Norwich. The school also provides a free Pedal and Park service for families who wish to cycle to school and work.

Hi,

Thought it was about time i updated the blog. I haven't updated it for a while as i have been so busy on various projects and other parts of my business, but thought you might all like to know a little more details on the training side to my business.

I have been training people on various subjects for many years. Before i setup my photography company i was a store manager for Halfords and trained many staff on items such as car audio equipment, Sat Navs, Camping products, as well as sales techniques etc.

The training side to my business started around a year ago when i was asked to run a after school club at a local high school. from this it then developed in to me running several 4 week evening classes around Norfolk, and now onto my Beginners Guide Workshops and wildlife photography workshops at both Banham Zoo and Africa Alive.

I also offer private 1-2-1 tuition at very competetive prices, which could be just a couple of hours right up to fully tailored 3 , 6 or 12 month program.

Business Brainstorming Session, Norwich, Norfolk

Last night i was doing a simple brainstorming session on my own, thinking about where i want my business to go, thinking up new ideas, and generally trying to find answers to questions. It suddenly occurred to me that this process would be alot more beneficial if i done it with a group of people. A few more scribbled notes on my piece of paper and here we are.

This is just an idea, and i am looking to see if people would be interested in taking part. It would take place in August on a week day between 10am and 3pm (Date TBC) and in the Norwich Area. There would be a small cost of around £25 per person. Groups would be limited to 6 people to give each person time to discuss their business in Detail.

So the hit TV show 'The Apprentice' is back on our screens next week, and this year they have changed the format slightly.

In recent years the winner has gone on to get a six figure salary at one of Lord Sugars organisations, but this year they will be getting a new business partner, none other than Lord Sugar himself with a cash injection of upto £250'000.

Back in January I was commissioned to photograph Jamie Lester who came third in the last series of the Apprentice. What a great guy to work with, very professional, and a great person to be around. Fingers crossed this year i might get to work with some more of The Apprentice candidates.

A few weeks ago whilst most of the country headed to the bookies to place bets on the grand national, i was lucky enough to be part of a great wedding that was almost a non starter. Richard and Heidi had booked me for there wedding last year and all was going well until the venue they had booked went into administration. This resulted in the couple losing half their money and leaving them just a couple of months to re plan their wedding. But with a 'can-do' attitude and the help of Heidi's mum, the couple got stuck in to start planning another wedding, this time even bigger and better.

I arrived at Brisley Bell inn, to meet the Groom and groomsmen whilst they were having pre wedding drinks in the sun. After 15 mins of trying to work out how to tie a cravat and working out which side the button holes need to be, we grabbed a few candid shots and i headed over to see the bride. Heidi was very calm, and has to be the most punctual bride i have ever met, she was ready to go about half an hour before she needed to be. We made use of the time and got lots of photos of the beautiful bridesmaids, an extremely happy mother, and the brides father, who was looking a little nervous, maybe down to the dreaded speech he would have to give later in the day.

When i arrived at East Bilney Church, the atmosphere was buzzing! With nearly 100 guests it was packed to the rafters. One of my favorite things at a wedding is seeing the look on the grooms face when he finally gets to see what his wife to be looks like, and with a beautiful hand made dress, designed and made by the brides mum, Heidi certainly didn't disappoint!

It really was a fantastic day, the weather was amazing, and everything went smoothly. The wedding breakfast and reception was held at the beautiful Hunters Hall in Swanton Morley, where the dancing and fun carried on until late that night.

After Sundays 1 day course went down a storm, I thought I had better get some more dates in the diary, and tell you more about what they are all about.

Beginners Guide to Digital Photography.

On the course we cover,

Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, metering, and histograms.
Then we look at how to improve your Landscape and Portrait photography, followed by hints and tips sections on Black and White, and Night Time Photography.

Today I held a 1 day beginners guide to digital photography workshop in Norwich, with 7 great people who all wanted to learn how to use their cameras properly. We covered various subjects such as;

We then moved on to some hints and tips sections, explaining how to set your camera up for different types of photography.

Black and white
Night time photography.

The day was ended by heading out on a walk to test the newly learnt skills.

Well I thought it was about time I updated the blog to let all you guys know what I have been up to.

After a couple of weeks of down time over Christmas and New Year, I was ready to get stuck back into it.

December flashed past like a bolt of lightning, family portraits galore, and maybe more importantly, spending a lot of quality time assessing where I want my business to go in 2011.

2011 has been the start of big changes for James Neale Photography, beginning with the launch of the new training workshops that we will be running over the course of the year. These will include;

2011 has also seen the launch of 'Commercial Photography by James Neale', although I did commercial photography last year I never really advertised the fact, so this year commercial photography is an area I really want to concentrate on. This had a great launch when recently I was commissioned by The Apprentice star, Jamie Lester, to complete all the photography for his new website, www.jamielester.com

This year also started with a bang when I found out I was awarded Advertising Photographer of the year 2010 by The Society of Industrial and Commercial Photographers. Something I am very proud to win as I worked very hard pushing my photography to a whole new level last year, and to win an international award like this, means it was all worth it.

So what's next? Well, I have so many things that I want to persue in 2011 and I can already tell that it's going to be a busy one. With the wedding season nearly upon us, I'm looking forward to spending many happy days with some great brides and grooms. I love capturing their special days, and giving them a collection of images that helps them to remember all the special details of their day.

Lots of people have asked what my New Years resolutions are, I don't really have any, but I heard this quote towards the end of 2010 and it has stuck with me:

Well with Christmas nearly upon us, i though i would let you all see a little sneaky peek at what i have been up to this month. it has been very busy with Family portraits, baby bump shoots, band promo work, commercial product photography, photography training..... the list goes on!

I completed my last shoot of the year today, with an old friend who was back in the area for Christmas with his partner and 4 month old baby boy. They came along to the studio and we had a great shoot. Great end to the year. Just got to edit them ready for a viewing tomorrow!

Today has been a good day for me. Not only getting through my todo list quite quickly, I was also notified that an image that I entered into a commercial photography competition back in february had been re judged. It was originally given a silver award which I was very pleased with, but now that they have re looked at this image they have changed their minds and given it the highest level a Gold!!

Also today I found out that I won a Silver award for this 2010 wedding image;

A great way to end the year, and fingers crossed I can continue the success in 2011!

James Neale Photography - My first year away from corporate life.

James Neale Photography will be officially 1 year old on January 1st, but it has now been just over a year since i left the world of corporate life and began working on setting up the business. Let me tell you it hasn't been easy. Setting up a business in the middle of a recession probably wasn't the best time to do it, but the way i look at it is, if i can survive now, then when this sorry country sorts out its bank balance there will be no stopping me!

Starting a business is no easy task, as I'm sure a lot of you will know. I thought i worked long hours during my time with Halfords, but as a friend and fellow businessman Jeff Turnbull once said to me, "the great thing about being self employed is that you get to choose which 18 hours of the day you work" and this is so true, there have been many days where i have sat at the computer at 7am and still been sitting there at midnight. But to me the one difference is, i want to be sitting there. A great saying is that "if you find a job you enjoy, you will never do a days work again" and this is certainly true for me. I honestly cant think of a single time over the last year where i have complained about having to work. I love what i do and i feel very privileged that i am able to do it.

Over the last year i have been lucky enough to work with some great people. I have enjoyed being a part of some amazing weddings, i have enjoyed spending time with loving families during portrait sessions and parties. I have photographed some really talented bands, stunning models, celebrities, the list goes on, cute dogs, picturesque landscapes, cars, racing drivers, local businessmen...... Every day has been different.

All of the above would certainly not have been possible with out the support of my beautiful wife Emma, who has put up me working long hours, and letting me make my dreams of running my own business a realality. Without you none of this would have been posible or worthwhile.

I also must not forget all my friends and family who have supported me, let me use them as models for test shoots and generally believed in me over the last year. some of you probably thought i was crazy giving up on a career that i had been building for the last 7 years, but i always have and always will go by the moto, 'if your not enjoying it, get out'.

There are also new friends that i have made during my first year as a photographer that have helped and guided me to where my business is now, Jeff Turnbull for all your training, and business mentoring, i can honestly say i wouldnt be writing this blog post if it hadnt of had the help and support from you, and also to some great photographers Ross Dean, Sam Carter, Andrea Simmons Abbott, Gary Wilson, and David Tyrer for all your great ideas and general support and friendship as we all set out to make our dreams come true.

So on a final note i just want to say a big thank you to all my clients over the last year, i have enjoyed working with every single one of you and i am looking forward to working with you and many more people over the next year.

Laurence and Carla get Married!!

Last month I was asked to cover the wedding of Laurence and Carla. The Couple were married in a beautiful little thatched church in Rocklands Norfolk. The Bride braved the light rain and made her way to the church by horse and carriage. I arrived at the church before Carla and managed to grab some shots of the two bridesmaids and Laurence the Groom.

After the ceremony, the pair made their way back to their home on the Horse and carriage.

Laurence and Carla have a beautiful home and held the reception in a large marquee in the garden. The sun came out and we made the most of it and managed to get some great family photos, and photos of the bride and groom with their horses. It was an amazing wedding and im so pleased that the couple asked me to be a part of their special day. I wish them all the very best and hope they have a great future together.

The Wedding of Alex and Tanja at Dereham Registry Office and the Reception held at The George Hotel Dereham

Yesterday I had the privilege of capturing the wedding of Alex and Tanja.
I only met The couple 4days before the wedding as the both live in Germany.
Tanja was quite worried about the weather on the day as the forecast said that it was to be very wet. But in true James Neale Photography Style, It turned out to be a glorious day, with gleaming sunshine and fluffy blue clouds.

For me this wedding was a challenge, because the bride and groom are flying back to Germany early on Tuesday morning, so I have had to upload, edit, backup and design a DVD slideshow all in a day, ready to show the couple their images on Monday morning.

I can happily say that all the editing and creating is done, and I am burning the DVD as I type.

The couple live in Essex but had their wedding at Hockering church and held their reception in a beautiful marque at the brides parents house which was next door to the church. Right, so it was our first concert, the kit has been cleaned, batteries have been charged and I am fueled with around 2L of redbull. I'm buzzing, the ipod is on shuffle and the sun is shining! I arrive at Borde Hill Gardens and can not believe how long the queue is to get in, i couldnt even see the end of it! lucky for me I have my photographers pass and am able to walk straight in!

There is a great party feeling in the grounds, people popping open their bottles of champagne and tucking into their picnik's.

The sun is still shining when Belinda Carlisle hits the stage. This is it, beat images is go go go! Im down in the photographers pit at the front of the stage and have thousands of fans behind me singing along to her 80s hits. I get my shots and then move out in to the crowd to soak up the atmosphere.

Martin Fry, from ABC was up next followed by Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet and Rick Astley.

The sun was now setting and the crowd were in full swing, the champagne and 80s classics were kicking in and the party was really going off with a bang.

The highlight of the night for me was when Tony Hadley and Rick Astley covered Kaiser Chiefs 'I predict a riot'. A great end to a great night.

The Wedding of Andrew and Jessica was held at the beautiful St Nicolas Church in Wells Next to sea.

The original church in Wells was destroyed by fire in the 19th century and the present church is Victorian.

It was a great day and the weather was beautiful. After the wedding they headed off to Blakeney Harbor Rooms for their evening reception.

Over the last few weeks I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing people. The one thing I love most about my job is that everyday brings you something different.

A few weeks ago i received a call from a young lady asking if she could book a photo shoot, she wanted something different, she wanted a vintage/Pinup style twist to her photos. This was something i had never done before but thats what i mean about my Job, every day brings you something different.

The day of the shoot arrived and I met Tiff at the studio. We started off by checking out all the different outfits she had brought with her and decided on what would look best for each shot.

It was a really fun shoot, and we got some really cool images.

Last Week was a busy week for prom photography. I had never realized how big these events are. When i left school nearly ten years ago our school prom was going down the pub and having a few beers!

I was asked by a friend of mine if i would photograph and take him and his prom date to the event, which i did. What an eye opener! There were around 200 people lining the school drive waiting as the guests arrive. Vehicle's ranging from Ferrari's, Lotus's, classic convertibles, a motorbike, a horse and cart, and even a fire engine pulled up to drop off their passengers!

I also photographed one out towards Kings Lynn. Now i didn't see the actual event but I'm sure buy the dresses that it was just as spectacular!

Weather- Beautiful!

I was very lucky to be asked to capture the wedding of Lloyd and Vicky Thompson last month. It was a great day starting off at Dereham Registry office and then over to the Queen Mothers gardens in Dereham to get some group shots of the bride and grooms family. It was a very hot day not helped by the fact that the aircon inside the registry office had stopped working. After the wedding I was able to follow the newly weds back to their house where they were going to hold the evening reception. We had an hour before the guests arrived to get some great shots of the couple, their house is set in a beautiful location, and we managed to get some stunning images. What made this a great wedding was the fact that Lloyd and Vicky are so laid back, there was no rushing around, no drama, and certainly no stress, even though they had been let down by suppliers at the last minute due to Englands first game in the world cup! To sum this wedding up... A great day, a great couple, and some great wedding photos :)

The big lunch project at Norwich Forum featuring work by Kurt Wenner, and an exhibition by Norwich School for Girls.

On Friday I went for lunch at the Forum in Norwich, for those of you who are not local, the forum is home to BBC Radio Norfolk, Norwich Library, the Curve and a hand full of restaurants. Whilst there I had a look at an exhibition put on by The Big Lunch Project. The big lunch project is an annual event that tries to get the community together for one day of the year and organises picnics right across the country. last year nearly 1 million people attended these events.
This year to help promote the event, they are touring the country and displaying a large canvas painting by amazing artist Kurt Wenner. His work is amazing and is all 3d. Make sure you check out the website to see some of his amazing artwork

Also, Inside the forum they had an art exhibition from Norwich School for girls. It was fashion and clothing inspired and was made by pupils aged between 3 and 18. one piece that really caught my eye was this

Last week I had the pleasure of doing a lifestyle portrait session with a great couple Nico and Chelsea. I have known them now for quite a few years and they are great fun to be with. It was a beautiful sunny day and we headed of to a place called Poppy's woods which is in North Tuddenham, Just outside Dereham. It is a great little woodland area and i have used it before for pre wedding shoots and trash the dress sessions. I used to spend many hours playing there when i was a child and there are some great places to get some photos.

We managed to get some amazing photos of the pair in between bumping in to the many dog walkers that also use the area. I think that Nico and Chelsea are probably the most 'in love' couple i have ever met. I thought at one stage i was going to have to get a crow bar to lever them apart! :)

Post wedding Photo Shoot and trash the dress sessions.

Post wedding photo shoots are great fun, it gives all brides and grooms the chance to get back into their wedding outfits and get some more beautiful images without all the stress of the actual day. Post wedding shoots are also known as trash the dress, TTD shoots and rock the frock.

Usually brides will decide to have their pictures taken on a beach, but other locations include town and city streets, rooftops, fields, and abandoned buildings.

Sources claim that the trend was originally started in 2001 by Las Vegas wedding photographer John Michael Cooper. Since then the style has spread around the world and most notably in the UK.

Although its called Trash the dress, most brides dont fancy destroying the dress, and so i tend to refer to it as Post wedding photo shoot, although if you fancy wandering out to sea in it or rolling around in the mud then just let me know :)

Its not all just Black and white by Dereham Photographer James Neale

Whilst browsing the internet at other photographers websites, I was amazed by the fact at how so many of them, when creating a black and white image simply must just hit the back and white button in Photoshop without considering doing anything else to the image, or even thinking to themselves, does this look good in black and white. I even found one photographer who thought that every image on his website looked good in colour and black and white, and that’s not quite true.

Black and white photography is an art in itself. So I thought that I would write a few hints and tips to help you start creating superb black and white images.

Always shoot colour- Even if your camera has a black and white setting, don’t use it. I find that its so much better in post production to start with a colour image and then convert over to black and white, plus you won’t forget to change your camera back and find you have ruined all those images that you wanted in colour.

Shoot Raw- if your camera allows it, shoot RAW, again the benefits in post production are huge. There you will be able to fine tune shadows and highlights etc.

Composition- Since colour is not available to draw the viewers eye into the photo, the use of shapes, textures and patterns is key to ensuring your image ‘flows’.

Contrast- Without colour, photography relies on the difference between light and dark to convey a powerful image. Look out for shadows and highlights Try shooting light subjects against dark backgrounds and dark subjects against light backgrounds.

Watch your Backgrounds- If your background is too busy, this will detract interest away from the subject. Simple backgrounds make for a very interesting black and white image.

Make use of bad weather- Many photographers turn their noses up at going out photographing when it’s dark and overcast thinking that they will not be able to get any good images, but actually its ideal weather for Black and white photography!

Made a mistake- Black and white can also be a very good cover up tool. Not that us photographers ever make mistakes ;) but if you ever end up with a colour image that is grainy because you forgot to lower your ISO, or you have an image where the lighting is completely wrong, you will be surprised at how turning your image black and white may be the answer. Take this shot of a portrait where the flash didn’t fire. Convert this to a high key black and white image and it could turn out to be their favourite!

Black and white with a hint of colour- Another way of making your subject stand out is to bring in a small amount of colour to an image.

So next time you are about to turn an image black and white don’t just hit the preset button and then hit save. Think about contrast, brightness, maybe even adding some grain, and if an image looks good in colour don’t automatically think that it will look good in black and white….maybe just leave it in colour.

Fashion Show at popular Norfolk wedding venue, Hunters Hall.

On Friday night I was invited to a charity Fashion show being help at popular Norfolk wedding venue, Hunters Hall. The Night was a great success and raised lots of money for Dereham Cancer Care. The Fashion show was full of outfits for special occasions, ball gowns, cocktail dresses and formal day wear from The Dressing Room in Mattishall. Also on the night there were various stalls including, Hairstylists, jewellery and a guy selling these amazing picnic hampers. The night was concluded with a raffle, with prizes that had been donated by local businesses. I won, wait for it.......A free portrait Sitting with a local Photographer!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of working with local band 5PM. They are based in Norwich, Norfolk, but are looking to move to London to help promote their band. to help finance the move the guys are looking to do some modelling work whilst they are there so as well as images to use on the band website, they were also after some images to start off their own modelling porfolios.

We all met at the Forum in Norwich to talk about the kind of thing they wanted, out of the three guys only one had some modelling experience, so i was going to have to help the guys out to make sure they were comfortable in front of the camera. When we left the Forum it was obvious that we were going to be battling with the weather all day, one minute it was sunny, the next raining, and we even had snow at one point! I started off by taking the guys to a quiet location and took some group shots to get the guys more comfortable infront of the camera, the rain then started so we headed of to a multi-storey carpark. this was a really good location and also gave us shelter from the weather.

The guys seemed to be getting used to the camera so we headed of to a busier location. this is where the fun began. One of the guys Jay looked like one of the guys from JLS, when he was having his photos done, a few people started nudging each other and pointing, everyone thought that it was really him, a little gathering of girls soon started to form! it really was great fun! i certainly loved the attention, and i think secretly Jay did to!

We all had great time and got some great images for them to use. The guys are also booked in to do a studio session this week with me and i look forward to meeting them all again, and showing them final images.

A couple of hours with my Camera

On thursday i decided to take a few hours off work and get back into an old hobby of mine.....Photography! I know Photography is my business and there isnt really a day goes by when im not using a camera, but being able to drive about and take photos of what ever i wanted felt good! Dont get me wrong, i love being in the studio creating beautiful images for clients or out on location doing family portraits, but i had forgotten how much fun it is just to go places and take pictures. Here are a few images that i got from the day.

Now some of you will know me, others wont so i thought i would just tell you a little about myself. I am a professional Photographer based between Dereham and Norwich and I specialise in Weddings and portrait photography. I have a small studio that i use for portraits, and i shoot alot on location. Here are some more details on the different types of photography that i do.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY, I know from my own wedding that the day just flys by so quickly, therfore it is very important to me that i capture all those memories for you and that the photos tell the story of your day. My wedding Collections range between £495 and over £2000 so there is something there to suit all price ranges. All collections are Tailored to you so that you only pay for what you want.

PRE WEDDING, AND ENGAGEMENT SHOOTS. These can be done in the studio or out on location. You can also have your favourite print mounted so that all your guests can write messages on it on your wedding day.

LIFESTYLE PORTRATS. These tend to be on location at your favourite place, the beach, in the woods, or even in your own home. These are great fun, and realy capture the moment. These make a great Valentines day present! :)

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY is also a big part of my business, this can be anything from Corporate Portraits, website photography, product launches, right through to store openings and charity events.
